This English Antique Pewter Inkwell, circa 1850, would make an interesting addition to any den or office. Constructed out of pewter, the inkwell has a round flat incised based and an incised hinged lid that lifts up to reveal the original pewter inkwell cup surrounded by five small holes to hold quill pens. It is a figural of a wide brimmed hat. The pewter surface has a nice dark patina and the lid opens and closes nicely. The English Antique Pewter Inkwell base measures, 7 inches in diameter, and the central well is 2 1/4 inches wide. It stands 3 1/2 tall.
